This Privacy Policy explains how KIM TradeSecret ("KIM TradeSecret", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit kimtradesecret.com, join our education waitlist, join our free Telegram community, or otherwise interact with our educational content. It should be read together with our Terms of Service and our Risk Disclaimer.

KIM TradeSecret is a brand operated by a solo independent operator. It is a trading-education brand only. We are not a registered company, we do not provide financial, investment, or trading advice, and we do not manage money or accounts. Throughout this policy, our identity is brand-only: you can reach us at support@kimtradesecret.com.

By using this website or submitting your information to us, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or submit your information.

Information We Collect

We aim to collect only what we need to run an educational community and to operate and improve the website. The categories below describe what we may collect.

Email address. When you opt in to our education waitlist, we collect the email address you submit so we can send educational content and notify you when new learning material is published.
Communications. If you email us at support@kimtradesecret.com, we receive your email address, your message, and anything else you choose to include.
Telegram information. If you choose to join our free Telegram community, Telegram provides us with limited information such as your Telegram username or display name and your messages within that community. Your use of Telegram is also governed by Telegram's own privacy policy.
Usage and device data. When you visit the site, we and our analytics and advertising tools may automatically collect basic information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location derived from IP, and timestamps.
Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, measure traffic, and support marketing measurement. See the Cookies section below.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes.

To send the educational content you opted in to receive, and to notify you when new learning material is published.
To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website and our educational community.
To respond to your questions, requests, and support messages.
To measure and understand how visitors find and use the site, using basic aggregate analytics.
To measure the performance of our advertising on the pages we use for marketing measurement, including via the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API.
To comply with legal obligations and to protect our rights, our users, and the integrity of the service.

Legal Bases for Processing (EU and UK)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal information only where we have a lawful basis to do so under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR. The bases we rely on are set out below.

Consent. We rely on your consent for sending you waitlist and educational emails, and for placing non-essential cookies and running marketing measurement such as the Meta Pixel and Conversions API. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Legitimate interests. We rely on our legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving the website and our community, and in understanding aggregate traffic, where this is not overridden by your rights and interests.
Legal obligation. We process information where necessary to comply with applicable laws and to respond to lawful requests.
For EU and UK visitors, marketing measurement, including the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API, is intended to run only where you have given consent, and the Conversions API is gated on the same consent as cookies. Where consent is not given, this measurement should not fire.

Email and the Education Waitlist

The education waitlist is strictly opt-in. We add your email only after you submit it yourself through the form on our homepage. We use your email to send educational content and to let you know when new learning material is published. Our free Telegram community is open to join separately and does not require the waitlist.

We send transactional and educational email through a third-party email provider, Resend, which processes the message and delivery on our behalf. Resend may process your email address and delivery metadata solely to send our messages.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by emailing support@kimtradesecret.com. Unsubscribing stops further educational and notification emails.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We use cookies and similar technologies for purposes that include keeping the site working correctly, remembering your preferences, measuring site traffic with basic analytics, and supporting marketing measurement on the pages we use for advertising.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or remove cookies and notify you when a cookie is set. If you disable cookies, some parts of the site may not function as intended.

Where required by applicable law, we will ask for your consent before placing non-essential cookies, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. For EU and UK visitors, marketing measurement that runs server-side, such as the Meta Conversions API, is intended to be gated on the same consent as non-essential cookies.

Analytics

We use basic website analytics to understand aggregate traffic and usage, such as which pages are visited and how visitors arrive at the site. This data is used in aggregate to improve the content and the user experience. It is not used to identify individuals, to provide financial advice, or to make decisions about specific people.

Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API

On the pages we use for marketing, we use the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to understand which marketing actions lead visitors to our educational offerings.

The Meta Pixel is a piece of code in the page that can record events such as page views and form submissions. The Meta Conversions API sends related event information from our server to Meta. This can include technical identifiers (for example, browser and click identifiers, IP address, and user-agent) and, where applicable, hashed contact information used only to match and measure events. Hashing transforms data into a non-readable value before it is sent. We do not send raw email addresses or other raw contact details to Meta.

This information is shared with Meta Platforms, Inc., which processes it according to Meta's own data policies. Because this sharing supports advertising measurement across contexts, it may be considered "sharing" or a "sale" of personal information under certain laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, even though we never exchange personal information for money. See "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" below. You can manage your ad preferences within your Meta account settings, and you can control cookies and consent as described above.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do, however, use the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API for advertising measurement, and under certain laws such as the CCPA and CPRA this use may be treated as "selling" or "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

If you are a California resident, or are otherwise covered by a law that grants this right, you may opt out of this sharing. To opt out, you can disable or decline non-essential cookies through our cookie controls where offered, adjust your browser and Meta ad settings, or email support@kimtradesecret.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share" and we will apply your request.

We also recognise opt-out preference signals. Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we will treat it as a valid request to opt out of sharing for that browser and device to the extent required by applicable law.

Telegram Community

We operate a free Telegram community for educational discussion and announcements. Joining is voluntary. When you participate, Telegram processes your information under its own terms and privacy policy, and other members may see your username, display name, and messages you post in the community.

Please do not share sensitive personal information, account credentials, or trading-account details in the community. Content shared in the community is educational and general in nature and is not personalised financial advice.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as described in this policy, namely with the service providers and platforms that help us operate. As noted above, advertising measurement may count as "sharing" under some laws.

Data Retention

We keep your information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. For example, we keep your waitlist email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, after which we remove it from our active sending lists within a reasonable period. Some records may be retained for a limited time to meet legal, security, or record-keeping obligations.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information under laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA. These can include the rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your information, to object to certain processing, to data portability, to opt out of "sale" or "sharing", and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Leave the Telegram community at any time directly within Telegram.

Exercising Your Rights

To make a request, email support@kimtradesecret.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, for example by confirming the email address associated with your records. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights. If you are in a region with a supervisory authority, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with that authority.

International Transfers

We and our service providers may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you live. Where information is transferred internationally, we take steps intended to ensure it remains protected consistent with this policy and applicable law.

Children's Privacy

This website and our educational content are intended for adults. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). Security
